The Des Moines affiliate focuses several of its programs and activities around elementary school education, improving Des Moines public school buildings and classrooms, and working with parents on the importance of communicating with their child’s school. The affiliate’s Triple AAA Program is one example of their commitment to education by annually recognizing high achieving students and awarding them with scholarships towards a college education.
