The Los Angeles affiliate focuses on enhancing literacy development in children and reducing health disparities in the Los Angeles African American community, particularly as it relates to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. The affiliate is also a partner with the national office on the Cross Cultural Partnership Project to help ensure that quality early care and education is accessible to the most vulnerable children.
