The Mid Hudson affiliate focuses on youth development, specifically as it pertains to working with young girls in the community on enhancing their selfesteem and self image, battling peer pressure, and social acceptance. The affiliate's program for young women ages 12-18 addresses these issues, but also exposes the girls to cultural and theater activities, proper etiquette skills, luncheon and dinner outings, and opportunities to meet and converse with professional women from the community.
