The Milwaukee affiliate has dedicated much of its efforts towards improving the elementary school system. The affiliate is specifically concerned with improving the quality of early care and education, and ensuring child-care is affordable and available to parents. Milwaukee has worked to educate their community on ways in which early care education programs can be improved, such as through increased funding and quality teacher training programs. Annually, the affiliate hosts a training and informational conference for individuals in the field of early childhood and elementary education.
