The Montgomery County affiliate focuses many of its programs on issues surrounding education and youth development. The affiliate's unique tennis program works with a local elementary school and the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation, which not only enables students to learn a new skill, but also increases their self-esteem, strengthens their emotional development, and teaches them conflict resolution.
