The Paramus affiliate is a college-based chapter on the campus of Bergen Community College that focuses its efforts on early childhood and elementary school education. The affiliate extends its support to two community schools - Hackensack Middle School and Janice E. Dismus Middle School in a variety of ways. The affiliate underwrites the costs of transportation and lunch for all programs attended on the campus by the students, has implemented the "Time to Read" program in both schools, and conducts a college preparatory course called Entering the College Zone for parents and students from both schools.
