The Pensacola affiliate focuses its efforts on elementary and secondary education. Chartered in 2000, the affiliate recognized the need to have the presence of an organization in the community that would guide parents in addressing concerns they have with the school system, to help increase parental involvement, and to provide parents and children with resources and information they may not otherwise have access to. The affiliate's collaborations with the University of West Florida and with the local Parent Teacher Association demonstrates its commitment to the community.
