The St. Louis affiliate focuses its efforts on exposing children in the community to programs and activities that help them to build a healthy self-esteem, develop positive personal skills, and teach conflict resolution. Through the affiliate's SKATE: St. Louis Athletic Team Enrichment program, underprivileged children learn to play hockey and ice-skate as a way of developing.
