The Williamsburg affiliate focuses much of its efforts on tutoring and mentoring, and child literacy. They are currently collaborating with the Williamsburg Headstart program to tutor the siblings of Headstart children who are in elementary and middle school. The affiliate also works with four Headstart agencies in surrounding communities to promote literacy and stress the importance of reading in the early years.
