Registration
Fee Options
Students:
Enclose a copy of your valid
student I.D. with your
Registration form to be
eligible for Student
Registration.
There
are three different
registration fee options:
OPTION
I: Conference Registration
includes:
- Conference
workshops and plenary
sessions
- Coffee
and Refreshment Breaks in
the Exhibit Hall
- Closing
Luncheon on Tuesday,
October 24
- Exhibit
Hall all three days
NOTE:
Do not check off the Meal
Function box unless you want
extra tickets. If the Closing
Luncheon included in Option I
is sold out, the registration
will automatically convert to
Option II and the fee
calculated accordingly.
OPTION
II: Workshops Only
includes:
- Conference
workshops and plenary
sessions
- Coffee
and Refreshment Breaks in
the Exhibit Hall
- Exhibit
Hall all three days
OPTION
III: Single Day includes:
- Conference
workshops and plenary
sessions on day registered
- Coffee
and Refreshment Breaks in
the Exhibit Hall
Tickets
for the meal function and
special events can be
purchased separately, based on
availability.
The
Pre-conference Seminars and
Events are priced separately.
They are not included in the
above registration options.
Registration
Deadline Dates
Registrations
for:
- The ADVANCE
rate must be received with
payment by September 29,
2006.
Registration
forms received after the
advance registration deadline
(September 29, 2006) will
either be returned or held for
you at the on-site
registration desk. Any
additional fees for ON-SITE
registration will be collected
at the conference.
A
letter acknowledging receipt
of your pre-registration will
be mailed directly to the
registrant. Bring this letter
to the Conference
Pre-registration Desk at the
Hyatt Regency Miami to receive
your conference packet, name
badge, and any tickets
purchased. You are not
pre-registered if your
registration form is received
by NBCDI after September 29,
2006.
Membership
Join
NBCDI as a member and receive
the reduced conference
registration fee in Option I.
Agency memberships extend to
only one person in the agency.
Persons who register at the
member rate but are not
current members must pay the
additional amount before
registration form is
processed.
Payment
Registration
forms must accompany full
payment, payable to National
Black Child Development
Institute, according to the
registration fee schedule.
NBCDI accepts money orders,
cashier's checks, company
checks, and credit cards
(American Express, MasterCard
or VISA). NBCDI does not
accept personal checks.
Purchase
orders will be accepted until
September 29, 2006. The
purchase order must reflect
what the registration fee will
be at the time payment is
received. Full payment of the
purchase order must be
received prior to the
conference in order to be
registered. Payments received
after September 29, 2006 must
be for the on-site
registration fee and brought
to the conference on-site
registration desk.
Group
Registrations
An
agency or organization that is
pre-registering five or more
individuals at the conference
registration fee (Option I)
may deduct 3% from the Option
I fee. Do not deduct the
discount from the Grand
Total. This deduction is only
applicable for conference
registrations submitted
together with payment by
September 29, 2006.
Refunds/Cancellations
Registration
refunds will be made only upon
receipt of written requests
received by September 29,
2006. A handling charge of
$50.00 will be deducted.
Telephone cancellations are
not accepted. You can submit
your cancellation request to
NBCDI Registration via fax to

moreinfo@nbcdi.org, or mail to
NBCDI Registration, 1101 15th
Street, NW, Suite 900,
Washington, DC 20005. Refunds
will be issued within 90 days
after the conference.
