Conference
Registration
All workshop presenters and
co-presenters must register at the reduced conference rate of
$200 by completing the Presenter Registration Form sent to all
lead presenters. Name
badges will be prepared for registered presenters.
Tickets for the Closing Luncheon, Monday Night Special
Event or
the Special Programs can be purchased in advanced on-line
or on-site depending on availability.
Registered presenters and their co-presenters should pick up
their name badges and registration material at the Conference
Pre-Registration Desk at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Drive
.
Audio/Visual
Equipment Information
All
workshop rooms will have a podium and for rooms with more than 50
people, a podium microphone.
NBCDI will also provide either an overhead projector
package, slide projector package, CD/Cassette player, cabling
for Speaker Provided Equipment, or a flip chart.
You must specify which package you would like as your
complimentary package. Speakers
needing a VCR or LCD Projector package must underwrite the
expenses for these packages or bring their own.
If
additional AV equipment beyond the complimentary package is
needed, complete the attached form and forward with payment.
Increased
labor and equipment costs prohibit NBCDI from underwriting the
cost of more than one audio-visual equipment package and the VCR
and LCD packages.
Sale
of Products
Speakers
who wish to display or sell their products or materials during
NBCDI’s conference are encouraged to do so in the exhibit
hall. Please see the
Exhibit
Brochure. The
sale of products and materials during NBCDI’s conference
anywhere in the hotel other than the exhibit hall is prohibited.
We
encourage speakers to have handout materials available for
participants in their workshop.
Participants do not sign up for specific workshops;
therefore, it is difficult to tell speakers exactly how many
people will be attending their sessions.
If you have material for 75 people, we believe you will
be adequately prepared. Conference
evaluations always indicate that attendees strongly prefer
handouts.
Hotel
Reservations
Please note the reservation
deadline and hotel deposit requirement.
A block of rooms has been reserved for conference
participants at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Drive, until September 27, 2007 at the group rate of $199.00 for a
single or double room, plus sales tax and applicable fees.
After the cut off date, all unreserved rooms will be
released. Call the
Hyatt Regency Chicago as soon as possible at (800) 233-1234 or
got to www.hyatt.com to make
your reservations. A
one-night, non-refundable deposit including tax is required
within 10 days of making the reservation.
Cancellations
If
you must cancel your presentation, please email conference@nbcdi.org
by August 1, 2007.
