Registration Deadline Dates

Registrations for:

  • The EARLY rate payment must be received by July 31, 2007.
  • The ADVANCE rate payment must be received by October 3, 2007. 

Registration forms received after the advance registration deadline (October 3, 2007) will either be returned or held for you at the on-site registration desk. 

A letter acknowledging receipt of your pre-registration will be emailed or mailed directly to the registrant. Bring this letter to the Conference Pre-registration Desk at the Hyatt Regency Chicago to receive your conference packet, name badge, and any tickets purchased. You are not pre-registered if your registration form is received by NBCDI after October 3, 2007.

Registration Fee Options

Students: Enclose a copy of your valid student I.D. with your Registration form to be eligible for Student Registration. There are three different registration fee options:

Payment

Registration forms must accompany full payment, payable to National Black Child Development Institute, according to the registration fee schedule. NBCDI accepts money orders, cashier's checks, company checks, and credit cards (American Express, MasterCard or VISA). NBCDI does not accept personal checks.

Purchase orders will be accepted until September 29, 2007. The purchase order must reflect what the registration fee will be at the time payment is received. Full payment of the purchase order must be received prior to the conference in order to be registered. Payments received after October 3, 2007 must be for the on-site registration fee. 

Group Registrations

An agency or organization that is pre-registering five or more individuals at the conference registration fee (Option I) may deduct 3% from the Option I fee. Do not deduct the discount from the Grand Total. This deduction is only applicable for conference registrations submitted together with payment by October 3, 2007.

Refunds/Cancellations

Registration refunds will be made only upon receipt of written requests received by October 3, 2007. A handling charge of $50.00 will be deducted. Telephone cancellations are not accepted. You can submit your cancellation request to NBCDI Registration via fax to 202-833-8222, email to moreinfo@nbcdi.org, or mail to NBCDI Registration, 1313 L Street, NW, Suite 110, Washington, DC 20005. Refunds will be issued within 90 days after the conference.

Pre-registered attendees and on-site registrants may obtain their registration materials from the conference registration desk at the Hyatt Regency Chicago between the following hours:

Saturday, October 20, 2007      8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 21, 2007        8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Monday, October 22, 2007       8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 23, 2007      8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Membership

Join NBCDI as a member and receive the reduced conference registration fee in Option I. Agency memberships extend to only one person in the agency. Persons who register at the member rate but are not current members must pay the additional amount before registration form is processed.
