Donations through payroll pledges enable NBCDI to implement innovative programs that impact the African American community in our core areas of child welfare, early childhood development, elementary and secondary education, health, parenting, and literacy. As a member of the America’s Charities federation for over 25 years and most recently of the Children First-America’s Charities, individuals have received the opportunity to donate to NBCDI through the combined federal campaign.

Your generous donation provides children with luggage who move from foster home to foster home in Detroit, MI; tutors to children in Greensboro, NC; books to pre-school children in Los Angeles, CA; and so much more.
