NBCDI is proud of all we have accomplished in support of Black children and families since our founding in 1970. Since our inception in 1970, our organization has benefited millions of children and families.
While we recognize that much challenging work remains ahead of us, we invite you to read our 2020 Impact Report and 2019 Impact Report to learn more about the recent impact we have had — both at the national level and in communities across the nation. As highlights of the achievements described in our report, from 2017-2019 alone, NBCDI distributed more than 200,000 books to Black families; benefited more than 80,000 children, parents, caregivers, and teachers through our Good for Me! health and wellness program; published and distributed seven major white papers and reports on critical policy issues and the state of Black children; and held five national convenings.
We look forward to the continued impact we will have with the support of our stakeholders. If you are not already an NBCDI stakeholder, we encourage you to support us!
