NBCDI urges its volunteers to continue the Education Service Initiative
The National Black Child Development Institute (NBCDI) over the summer accepted the invitation from First Lady Michelle Obama to join the commitment with the White House and the Corporation for National & Community Service on their “Summer Education Service Initiative.” As a national partner, NBCDI invited you to join us by becoming an NBCDI volunteer and to pledge your time and efforts to meet community needs. NBCDI is happy to report that many of you supported and participated in the initiative and sent in your hours spent working with children in your community, pictures and stories.
NBCDI would like to personally thank all the volunteers who participated and would like to encourage everyone to continue to pledge your time and commitment in making a difference in your communities.
